Sticking with a flat astro site

I’ve now been through three blog building tutorials:
Contentful was easier to get up & running, Sanity seems like more of a flex if I wanted to impress other developers.
But after working with both of them, I feel like the more practical solution is to simply proceed with a regular ol’ astro app.
I can always connect the CMS later, and doing a content migration might be more valuable experience than starting from scratch.
Plus I’m not sure how much longer any of these companies are going to continue providing a free tier. Their customers are entprise organizations that measure their budgets in tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars, and it may not be too long before the free tier’s cost outweighs it’s benefits. Particularly with increasingly expensive embedded AI.
